ACV Fruitfly Trap

Nowadays they sell ‘fruitfly traps’ here in the supermarket, but I guarantee you that this trick is way cheaper and at least as effective as the readymade store bought versions.

All you need is some apple cider vinegar, water and dishsoap; ie things that are probably in your pantry already.

Take a glass that you will remember not to take a sip from (don’t make me get into that story!) or clear from the counter. Pour roughly 1/3 apple cider vinegar and 2/3 water. Squirt in some dishsoap (roughly half a tbsp) and give it a gentle stir.

Leave out where you got the most fruitflies and keep your fruitfly attracting fruit in the fridge during summer.
